Item History

These REL AirShip transmitters and receivers have been taken in as part exchange from a Senso Systems customer.

They do not come with their original boxes or packaging. However, the units and accessories can be safely dispatched in suitable third-party packaging supplied by us.

Also included are the power cables.

Please note: these are the original REL AirShip models, not the AirShip II version.

Before listing, the transmitters and receivers were plugged in and powered on successfully. However, we do not have the equipment required to test their full functionality. They are therefore sold as partially tested.

Any visible marks or scuffs have been photographed and included in the listing photos. Please review all photos carefully to assess the condition of the items.

As the items are second-hand, no warranty is provided.

Features

The original REL AirShip is a zero-compression wireless transmitter and receiver system designed for compatible Serie S subwoofers. It uses a 5.8 GHz link and carries high-level or low-level audio alongside a separate .1/LFE channel, supporting music and home-cinema use without changing connections. Inputs include Neutrik Speakon, stereo RCA, RCA LFE and balanced XLR LFE. Its stable wireless link preserves bass timing, scale and impact while allowing more flexible subwoofer placement within the listening room.

• Zero-compression wireless: The dedicated 5.8 GHz connection transmits the subwoofer signal without the compression used by many conventional wireless systems.
• Music and cinema channels: High-Level or Low-Level audio can operate alongside a separate .1/LFE channel for two-channel listening and home-cinema use.
• Flexible connections: The transmitter provides Neutrik Speakon High-Level, stereo RCA Low-Level, RCA LFE and balanced XLR LFE inputs.
