ARCAM’s A5 is the entry point to the Radia range of integrated amplifiers. Class A/B amplification delivers 50W per channel into 8 ohms, and an onboard ESS Sabre DAC handles digital sources up to 24-bit/192kHz. Two-way Bluetooth with aptX Adaptive streams from a phone or tablet and can also send audio out to wireless headphones. A moving magnet phono stage, three line inputs, a pre-out and a front-panel headphone socket make it a flexible heart for a system. Sound is detailed, musical and engaging.
